BECO: Balancing and testing bench for high-performance battery packs
The value of a battery compared to the product it sits within is growing in importance in terms of cost, reliability and safety.
This is why our experience at Emob3 has led us develop a multifunctional system that allows you to perfectly bring on line and guarantee the maximum durability of high-performance battery packs, such as modern lithium batteries.
The BECO service
BECO, our balancing and testing bench, is an integrated design service for battery pack balancing, testing and reconditioning divided into the following activities.
1. Analysis of your production system and manufactured products (need assessment).
2. Design of the balancing and testing system for battery packs:
- design of the physical system
- development of control software
- integration of the system in the existing production cycle and quality system.
4. Production ramp-up:
- staff training regarding the use of the system
- monitoring the production cycle start-up
- on-going set-up.
Battery diagnosis and reconditioning
BECO can also be made in a reduced, portable size to run diagnostics and recondition battery packs in the field in the case of highly stressed and unbalanced cells.
The system can be equipped with an independent power supply (battery and/or range extender) to allow for interventions even in situations where the electrical grid cannot be accessed.
